Setup
Since version 1.2.5, this plugin supports Mailchimp GDPR Forms. If the option has been set and saved for your list in the Mailchimp backend, you will see corresponding information in the plugin settings when you retrieve the lists:
After the GDPR list has been selected, the corresponding menu item “GDPR” is activated in the plugin. The following settings are available here:
The options available here come directly from Mailchimp and can be edited there. To retrieve the options again, another list should be selected, then the options in Shopware will be deleted. If the same list as before is then selected, the changed options will be deleted.
Alternatively, the plugin creates the options as text modules that can be edited directly in Shopware:

After activating the options, the fields are integrated into the corresponding forms:
- In the footer:
- In the checkout:
- In the account:
- In the registration form:
If a newsletter subscriber selects this option and synchronization is performed by the plugin, Mailchimp will display that the user has selected the option:
