In this case, the form and/or registration settings are set to use the double opt-in process via MailChimp, but the double opt-in setting in the Shopware Basic settings -> Privacy is still active:
This setting should therefore be set to “No” and saved. The shop cache should then be cleared. If you then call up the plugin settings again, the configuration should be recognized as valid.
The other case shown here would also be invalid:
Here, the double opt-in process should be carried out via Shopware, but the double opt-in option in the basic settings of Shopware is deactivated – this is indicated by “Double opt-in for Shopware: Inactive”. The solution here would be to activate the setting under Basic settings -> Data protection, as shown above, and then clear the shop cache. If you then call up the plugin settings again, the configuration should be displayed as valid.
